Viktor Onyshko

Viktor Yukhimovych Onyshko, born in 1939 graduated from Chernivtsi State Medical Institute in 1962.

After graduating from the medical institute, he worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist in the Sumy region, and later as a gynecologist in Khmelnytskyi City Hospital.

From 1965 to 1967, he studied in clinical residency at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Chernivtsi Medical Institute.

Since 1967, he worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist at the Khmelnytskyi Maternity Hospital, Khmelnytskyi Regional Hospital, Kamianets - Podilsk City Hospital.

In 1974, he was appointed to the position of chief physician of the Khmelnytskyi Maternity Hospital.

From 1981 to 1985 - work in the People's Republic of the Congo as the head of a group of Soviet medical workers and the chief physician of a maternity hospital in the city of Brazzaville, NRC.

In 1984, he was awarded an honorary diploma of the Presidium of the Verkhovna Rada of the Soviet Union.

Since 1986, he continued to work as the chief physician of the Khmelnytskyi Maternity Hospital.

Since 1988, studying in a correspondence postgraduate course.

In 1989, he defended his candidate's thesis on the topic "Prevention of postoperative complications in patients with uterine myoma".

In 1990, he was awarded the honorary title of Honored Doctor of the Ukrainian SSR.

Since 1995, he has been working at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Postgraduate Education, Vinnytsia National Medical University named after M.I. Pirogov.

In 2000, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Surgical Disciplines of the Faculty of Postgraduate Education of VNMU named after M.I. Pirogov.
