On June 11, 2024, two conferences organized by the Departments of International Economic Relations and Marketing were held as part of the intellectual mix:
- The International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Students «International Economic Relations: Sustainable Development and Digitalization»;
- VII International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists «Marketing through the Eyes of Youth».
The conference covered issues of global economic integration, international logistics, post-war reconstruction of Ukraine's economy, modern aspects of marketing, innovative technologies, international marketing, digital marketing, market research, the importance of digitalization in various fields of activity, economic security and development of economic diplomacy, innovation and investment development, management of competitive potential and improvement of personnel competitiveness.
The conference was attended by more than 50 students majoring in:
- 075 Marketing (educational program "Marketing");
- 292 International Economic Relations (educational programs "International Logistics and Customs", "International Economic Relations").
Representatives of the management of Khmelnytskyi National University welcomed the conference participants:
-Oleh Syniuk, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Vice-Rector for Research at Khmelnytskyi National University, emphasized the importance of the collaboration between the two departments and expressed hope for deepening and expanding inter-faculty and inter-departmental cooperation;
-Vitaliy Karpenko, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Khmelnytskyi National University, noted that the period of student life is full of opportunities and urged not to miss any of them.
Representatives of practicing stakeholders addressed the audience remotely and in person:
– Vadym Pylypchuk, Director of HILARY COSMETICS LLC, emphasized the prospects of cooperation between marketing and international business, spoke about the existing cooperation between HILARY COSMETICS LLC and Khmelnytskyi National University, and stressed the importance of university management initiatives aimed at youth development;
– Natalia Zachynska, founder of the A+ language studios network, co-founder of MedEd Ukraine, spoke about studying at Khmelnytskyi National University and urged young people to appreciate what they are getting now;
– Dmytro Shevchenko, director of Dialog Center, co-owner of Bambi clothing company, focused on the right mindset to achieve the top in business.
The heads of the organizing departments welcomed all the participants and spoke about the specifics of their activities and achievements:
– Dmytro Vasylkivsky, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Department of International Economic Relations;
– Iryna Zakryzhevska, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Marketing.
Stakeholders were invited to the conference, and some of them made presentations and reports, in particular:
– Yuriy Polishchuk, Head of the Khmelnytskyi branch of Vartis LLC;
– Denys Mamchur, Head of Project Management at Voice Marketing;
– Yan Rostyslavovych Earl-Ruzhytskyi, project coordinator of the Youth Council at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, a graduate of the American University in Washington, D.C., under the Global UGRAD program of the U.S. Department of State and a student of the Educational and Research Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
And, of course, students made presentations:
– Inna Humenna, Master's student of the Marketing program at Khmelnytskyi National University. The topic of the report was "Entering the international market of the FTP company";
– Kristina Lastovetska, 1st year student, International Logistics and Customs. The topic of the report was "Priority areas of economic cooperation between Ukraine and Poland".
The important collaboration of the two departments allowed to create a multifaceted scientific discourse that combined modern trends in marketing and international economic relations, and the joint efforts of the two departments contributed to a deeper understanding of the complex processes taking place in the modern world and opened up new opportunities for research and cooperation.
