Participation of Associate Professors of the Department of Computer Engineering and Information Systems Iryna Zasornova and Olha Pavlova in the training on the development of microcredit disciplines within the framework of the Edu-GTUA project

From June 17 to 20, 2024, Associate Professors of the Department of Computer Engineering and Information Systems Iryna Zasornova and Olga Pavlova visited the Wroclaw University of Technology, Poland.

The purpose of the visit was to continue working on the Edu-GTUA project and to participate in a training on the development of microcredit courses.

The training was conducted by Laura Siwula, a representative of the international team of the European Alliance "Unite!" and director of the Business Development Center at Aalto University, Finland.

On the first day of the training, participants from seven Ukrainian universities (Khmelnytskyi National University, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lutsk National Technical University, Dnipro Polytechnic National Technical University, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, Sumy State University, and Odesa Polytechnic National University) shared their experience in developing microcredit courses and expressed their wishes on what issues need to be addressed in the future.

In the following days, the development plan, the main components of microcredit courses were reviewed in detail, and approaches to creating microcredit courses focused on the needs of the target audience and the modern labor market were analyzed.

The meeting also discussed:

- further work on the Edu-GTUA project;

- conditions for student participation in the summer school which will be held in September 2024;

- the possibility of implementing the acquired knowledge when creating microcredit courses.
