Ulugbek (Tashkent, Uzbekistan).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, Professor Torsten Roelcke leads a number of research projects funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research: \u201cGerman-Ukrainian Online Portal of Specialized Dictionaries,\u201d \u201cMultidimensional Analysis of Academic Written Language Competence of Foreign Students,\u201d \u201cDissertation Corpus of Research on German Specialized Languages,\u201d \u201cAssessment and Comparative Study of a Specialized Language Test in the Context of Professional Medical Licensing,\u201d \u201cSpecialized German Communication within the DAAD Module Dhoch3,\u201d \u201cSpecialized Processing of Environmental Documentation,\u201d \u201cLanguages \u2013 Education \u2013 Opportunities: Innovations for Berlin Teachers,\u201d \u201cTerminologization and Compilation of Terminological Dictionaries,\u201d and \u201cLanguage Reflection in the Age of Baroque and Enlightenment.\u201d Since 2016, he has been actively supporting Ukraine through a series of joint projects on the compilation of German-Ukrainian specialized terminological dictionaries (to date, six dictionaries have been compiled, with two more in preparation for publication, co-authored with Yu. P. Boiko).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Torsten Roelcke is the author of more than 250 scholarly publications, including 14 single-authored monographs and textbooks on specialized languages and German as a foreign language, as well as 23 co-authored monographs. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of three academic journals indexed in the Scopus database \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to Professor Roelcke\u2019s initiative, a number of important joint projects have been realized, including the project for the creation of German-Ukrainian specialized terminological dictionaries, which began in 2016. To date, six dictionaries have been compiled, with two more in preparation in collaboration with Ukrainian scholars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His support has greatly contributed to the development of specialized German-language communication and academic cooperation between Ukrainian and German institutions of higher education. This intercultural academic collaboration has been made possible through his personal commitment, scholarly engagement, and deep understanding of the importance of linguistic and professional exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to Professor Roelcke, the university can engage with contemporary Western European scholarly research, participate in international projects, and develop the potential of academic staff and students in the fields of linguistics, terminology, and specialized
